Our team
With technical and project management resources located in every region, we can provide our customers with valuable local support which is backed up by our extensive network of global engineering expertise.
Our teams of inspectors and technicians have experience of working across the offshore energy, industrial and renewables sectors and in the most challenging and remote environments, both onshore and offshore.
We are committed to providing customers with a responsive service and our operational model means we can mobilise teams quickly to support projects anywhere in the world.
Many of our technicians are multi-skilled, minimising the number of people required for a job. Examples of this include crane operators that have mechanical and rigging experience, hydraulic technicians with electrical and inspection qualifications, mechanical technicians with electrical, hydraulic and bolting expertise, and riggers with deck crew and rope access qualifications.
Our teams are often mobilised to undertake jobs such as repairs, refurbishments and upgrades in-situ at our customer sites but when this is not possible, we utilise our numerous workshop locations to complete larger complex projects.

Our facilities
Altrad Sparrows has workshop and storage facilities in more than 15 countries around the world. With the addition of the Altrad Group’s presence in more than 59 countries, the strength of our global capability means we can support customers with local solutions, wherever they are, that are cost-effective and efficient.
We also have a number of training centres across the globe offering a range of tailored and standard courses that ensure competence and raise standards in the industry, both onshore and offshore. All of our centres have portable crane simulators that can be easily deployed to any location and we have state of the art mainframe simulators in Aberdeen and Houma.
Our workshops are API and ISO 9001 certified and can deliver a broad range of services, from simple servicing to manufacturing and full-scale refurbishments and overhauls of any mechanical, hydraulic and electrical equipment and components.
Our workshops have the capability to carry out a range of services including:
